New Ito En Teas

Ito En, New York, NY, has introduced Oi Ocha—a top-selling green tea beverage in Japan—to the U.S. marketplace. It is available in Regular and Dark varieties. The difference in intensity can be compared to light and dark roast coffees. The tea is brewed using a “natural clear” method, which retains its pureness. The company also recently added Pure Black to its Teas’ Tea line of all-natural, unsweetened bottled teas made from Darjeeling tea leaves. Additionally, Ito En has introduced Oolong Shot, a ready-to-drink tea that contains 171 mg of pure oolong tea polyphenols, as well as Sencha Shot, a double brewed green tea beverage that contains high amounts of catechins.
